Edmonds County Water Features FAQ

Choosing can be difficult, especially if you do not know what you want. However, you might start by thinking about the purpose why you want to install a water feature in your home. Your vision for adding water features to your home will determine what kind you want. For instance, if you want to add some curb appeal to your property, you might want to add a fountain. Or, if you want your lawn to be more interactive with nature, you may add a pond with fish and plants. Your budget can also help you choose the right water feature for you.
A pondless waterfall is a waterfall that has no pond. It just recirculates the water. It is good for small spaces and for families with children.
For an interior fountain, it is best if you will get one that can hold around a few quarts of water. It is also fine to have even more water, several gallons or even a larger quantity of water for a large room. For outside fountains, you want many gallons of water to be effective. An outside fountain should hold at least 25 gallons of water and even more if possible.

How much is it to cut the grass on an empty lot. We just had it cut, but the gardener said it's too far from where he is.

I engaged a service a few weeks ago but have had a difficult time getting them to mow according to agreement, once a week on Friday. The yard has not been mowed in two weeks due to the crew not showing up. I need mowing service as soon as possible if we can come to satisfactory terms. The service will be for mowing, edging, weed eating, and blowing off the drive. You would be mowing approximately 5/8 ts of an acre.

Landscape Maintenance

Lynn K. Federal Way, WA

We can divide this project into thirds (by location on the property), but the work is the same for each. Our lot was a mesquite forest. The majority of the lot was scraped when we built the house, but there are areas where we need to thin out trees so we can get a lawnmower through the areas. It's a mess, and the grass is high. We did one of the areas a few years ago, so we have an example of what it should look like.
