Additions and Remodeling

Michael C. Forest, VA

We need someone to fix (probably replace) the roof fascia and eve ventilation , replace one of the vinyl siding corners, replace the skirting, and re-level our double wide mobile home, and secure the metal roofing on one of our outbuildings. This is an insurance claim, and the contractor we originally hired to do this, was unwilling/unable to do the work to our satisfaction, and we mutually agreed to cancel the contract. He left his overhead and profit behind when we cancelled the contract. We need to enter into a new contract with a licensed contractor, and show that at least three trades are involved, in order to get that O&P money. I don't know if the roofing, (which was the only thing the other contractor did right) would count as one of those trades. Our bank will require an inspection before they will release the remaining funds.
