While selecting the equipment that you need for your heating and cooling system, think about the capacity. This will depend on the size of your home. Perhaps it is worth mentioning that capacity can always be adjusted accordingly, so you have a lot of room for flexibility here. Efficiency of the Virginia Beach heating and cooling system is another issue that affects the cost. The more efficient your heating and cooling unit is, more likely it is that it could cost you more upfront, but save you on a lot of money on long term. Another thing that is tied to efficiency is the level of noise that will be produced by the Virginia Beach heating and cooling system. The newer units are usually less noisy as compared to the earlier models. In fact, upgraded models are fairly quieter.

Virginia Beach County Heating and Cooling FAQ

One of the most important things of maintaining Virginia Beach heating and cooling systems is to ensure there is unrestricted flow of air. Debris, dust and dirt happen to be the most common and worst detriment to the effectiveness and efficiency of most heating and cooling systems in Virginia Beach. It doesn't matter whether your heating and cooling system is indoors or outdoors. You have to make sure the filters are cleaned and there are no restrictions on the coils and heat exchangers.
Regular replacement of the Virginia Beach heating and cooling filters is mandatory for the system to operate at its peak capacity. Other than that, this also makes it easier for the heating and cooling to improve the quality of the air indoors. Remember that while replacing the heating and cooling filters, you will also be going one step further in protecting your home from germs, allergens and dust.
The frequency of replacing your heating and cooling depends on a number of factors, but most importantly the type of filter you are using. Central Heating

Kandace K. Virginia Beach, VA

Purchasing a home that was built in 2001. Ac unit is 2 and a half ton. Not sure of age of outside unit but looks old. Furnace looks fairly new. Thermostat is old it is not digital. We turned on the breaker box and tried to turn on heat and air and it kept flipping the circuit the home inspector was unable to check it since it kept blowing that circuit. The inspector stayed for an hour and half. The agent and I stayed a little bit after that so the agent could have the inspection papers on my file and then we could shut everything down but we tried the hvac system again and it ran the ac just fine. I am trying to figure out why it was blowing circuit and how to fix it.
