I have a crawlspace about 6'x10' that needs to get sealed up. I was thinking about having spray foam installed to do that. In addition, I have an exterior block room with about a 4" gap on the exterior wall to earth. The height of the blocks to earth is about 4-5 feet. The 4" gap was to be back filled and tamped down but the earth is beginning to crumble into the gap. However, due to the height and location, it may be a simpler solution to fill the void with spray foam; if it is strong enough. Plus it would provide a much needed moisture barrier. I was considering filling the void with concrete, but it would be way too difficult to get concrete into the area needing to be filled plus I would still have the moisture issue to contend with. At your earliest convenience, I would like to schedule an estimate. What is your availability? I am available late Friday, all weekend and on Monday morning.
