Longview County Water Features FAQ

Choosing can be difficult, especially if you do not know what you want. However, you might start by thinking about the purpose why you want to install a water feature in your home. Your vision for adding water features to your home will determine what kind you want. For instance, if you want to add some curb appeal to your property, you might want to add a fountain. Or, if you want your lawn to be more interactive with nature, you may add a pond with fish and plants. Your budget can also help you choose the right water feature for you.
A pondless waterfall is a waterfall that has no pond. It just recirculates the water. It is good for small spaces and for families with children.
For an interior fountain, it is best if you will get one that can hold around a few quarts of water. It is also fine to have even more water, several gallons or even a larger quantity of water for a large room. For outside fountains, you want many gallons of water to be effective. An outside fountain should hold at least 25 gallons of water and even more if possible.

Drainage Work

Eric F. Longview, TX

Hello, Theres a low spot in my yard just beyond the back patio. The way that the backyard is sloped, it accumulates water runoff and such in about a 5 x 7 area. While water accumulation in this area is far enough away from the foundation, I just dont like standing water in my yard for long periods of time, especially in the summer where it can serve as a mosquito breeding ground/giant puddle of mud for the dog to play in. Curious what my options are in terms of drainage solutions or if it would make more sense to try something DIY.
