Fair price breakdown

Building a pool is considered to be a major project and will, therefore, need a contract. To get a proper estimate of your project, you should take into consideration at least three or more estimates from different pool companies in Austin so you can get a better understanding of how the pricing works in your location. Pool contractors Austin usually place their bid that includes the total estimate of the project cost. They are not charged by the hour but by the project. To compute their expected earnings from the project, they get estimates from all their material suppliers and subcontractors to arrive at the total cost, and then they will divide it by a certain percentage. That certain amount equivalent to the percentage will be their project fee. If they are planning to propose a fixed price contract to you, they will add their project fee to the estimated total cost, and that will be the estimated overall expense of your project.

Above Ground Swimming Pool

Laura M. Austin, TX

We had a "pool" contractor install our 15x24 oval pool but when we went to fill it the liner was to tight and a post was literally caving in. We ended up fixing it and reapplying the liner but the one side does not look right to us. My son's graduation party is on the 4th and I need someone honest and reliable to help us. I have five children and 2 grandboys so there safety is the most important to us. I'm so upset by this.

In Ground Swimming Pool

Davi R. Austin, TX

I just purchased a home and there are two problems with the pool. 1) It is very green, despite 10 gallons of liquid chlorine and a gallon of algaecide, scrubbing, etc. I have not yet vacuumed it because I can't see the bottom ; 2) My pool pump has stopped working (sand pump) and I don't know anything about pools or pumps. I've tested the breaker at the pump and the master breaker and I can't get it to begin running again. I need someone who can come fix these problems, get my pool blue and clean, and teach me how to care for and maintain the pool and pump.
