San Antonio County Pool Cleaning FAQ

It is crucial that you only call a company that has well-trained and fully-equipped professionals. The specialists that you'll hire must have proper training and equipment because improper implementation of services and techniques can cause unsatisfactory results or additional damage. Check if your prospective company maintains industry certifications. They should also participate in educational opportunities to ensure they remain as the forefront of the newest pool cleaning and repair technologies.
As soon as the cold months arrive, you must call a specialist immediately. Cleaning and water balance must be done even during winter. Winter season requires a change in cleaning and maintenance procedures, so call your trusted company immediately.
You should have your pool filters cleaned and checked twice a year. For smaller ones, you need to do it more frequently.
There are a lot of possible reasons why your pool is cloudy. Usually, the water blurs if something goes amiss with the factors that control your pool's water balance. If your pool is treated and vacuumed properly but the water still gets cloudy, then it may be the plaster dissolving into the water. To be sure, have the water and systems analyzed thoroughly.

I currently have a pressure operated pool cleaner (Pentair Kreepy Krauler) that operates off the side of the pool. It is a year old. We have noticed that there is no pressure coming out of the hole that the pool vac plugs into. My husband also noticed that the pressure is not what it should be. We have a hot tub attached to the pool, and the jets seem to be working great. Also we have noticed that when the pool shuts off at night, that the hot tub partially drains back into the pool, but in the morning when it cuts back on, the hot tub fills back up to normal. So basically, the only problem we see is the pressure going to the pool vac, and the hot tub draining down to half full when it shuts off for the night. Last year a friend that is in the pool maintenance area, talked us into getting the Pentair (pressure) vac. So he re plumbed it to accommodate the pressure vac. We did have a side suction vac which to tell u the truth, I really liked a lot better. I don't think it is skimming like it should with the pressure vac, because the steps and swimout are always dirty. They never were with the suction. So that's a little bit about my problem. Thanks
