How Much Does it Cost to Inspect a Foundation in Weslaco?

Foundation inspection Weslaco is a crucial task that should only be carried out by a professional. If you start to see cracks, holes, leaks or any other kind of damage appear on your walls and other parts of your home, don’t just sit around doing nothing. Small cracks and holes may look like minor problems on your foundation, but if your Weslaco foundation inspection reveal that your home’s foundation is already deteriorating, you have very little time to waste. Foundation inspection Weslaco is not only necessary to know the condition of your home, but it is also critical when you are purchasing a new or old house. Cracks can indicate resettlement of the foundation. It happens because as time goes by, the soil that supports the foundation is being washed away. The outcome is that the foundation sinks or settles, putting pressure on the home and causing cracks, leaks as well as other kinds of foundation damage to occur. Basement flooding and other significant damage often accompany this damage, further aggravating your problem.

Concrete Foundations

John S. Edinburg, TX

One side of a brick double. Original foundation is stone and mortar and in decent shape. On my side of the back is a kitchen that was added on, using the old porch supports. The other side is a utility room and bathroom, using their old porch supports. The stone wall between the two is crumbling due to water over the past 50 yrs (?). The wall on my side has the joists from the kitchen going into it. Not sure about the other side (the crew space on my side is app 5 ft and on theirs 2 ft (?). But I would guess it’s supporting both sides to some degree. Would like the wall either repaired or replaced. May need to put up support until wall is completed. It water appears to have really slowed down the past couple of years, as there almost no water leakage into the basement . The past heavy rain seems to have caved in the one end. Would like it done soon as hurricane season coming and I’m assuming rain.
