Our deck needs to be restained/repainted. We moved in last fall and I'm not sure when the previous owners last painted/stained it. I believe that they may have used a paint, but it could also be a solid stain. If possible we would love to have it stained instead of painted. My guess is it will require a stripping prior to being stained but I would obviously leave that decision to you.
