Need estimate for items identified during inspection: 1) The unit appears to be improperly placed over the return air plenum, leading to unfiltered air being pulled in from the rear of the unit 2) The cooling system exterior condensation drain line needs to be extended so that it terminates a minimum of 3' away from the foundation perimeter. 3) There is no secondary condensation drain line or an emergency float electrical cutoff switch installed as called for by today's standards in locations where condensation overflow could cause interior water penetration. 4) Insulate ducts located in unheated spaces, and seal all joints with duct mastic. 5) The insulation board ducts are damaged in areas of the attic, and have been improperly repaired with unrated tape. 6) There were ducts that were not properly sealed at the ceiling and vent registers. If the extent of the repairs to the existing duct system will be costly, we need an estimate for replacing it with a new one.
