Septic Tanks - Clean or Pump Out

Lonnie W. Teaneck, NJ

We have been having a problem with a toilet that was installed, not flushing all the time, however the other toilet and sinks have not been a problem. When taking showers or using the bath sink you could hear it bubbling in the new toilet. Now the shower is backing up, and the other toilet is not flushing. At first it seemed like the problem was starting when we received a lot of rain like a couple months go when everyone was having issues with flooding, but it has been having the same issue as of the last months when we were not having any rain. So I am at a loss, not sure if it is an issue with the septic tanks being full or an issue with the lines, but I did find out that my mom has not been adding anything (Septic cleaning tablets) for a few years already.
