Driveways & Floors

Joy S. Livonia, MI

The area is a small deck at the back door (about 4.5' by 6.5') . There is a 4" thick cement slab resting on a large cement block. The surface of the cement slab is starting to disintegrate and the edges are cracking. The base appears to be fine as are the two cement steps down to the ground. I am wondering if the slab can be either resurfaced or replaced. However, I suspect the deck is all one unit, and that only the steps were poured separately.
