How Much Does it Cost to Repair an Air Compressor in Perry Hall?

Owning an air compressor definitely has its benefits. The air compressor is a device that is used to turn power into potential energy. This potential energy is then used to operate several tools like nail guns, spray-paint guns, air ratchet tools, air blowers, and many more. An air compressor is deemed to be more cost-effective than other devices powered by batteries. For example, a battery operated nailer can cost you $200 to $500 while a pneumatic nailer that is fuelled by an air compressor will only cost around $50 to $300. It is also easier to maintain and will last longer. Another good thing with an air compressor is that you can use it with different tools. With all these benefits that you can take advantage of, it is important that you take good care of your air compressor. However, there may come a time that it can get damaged either by excessive usage or old age. If your air compressor is showing any sign of damage, it is important that you hire a professional air compressor repair Perry Hall service right away. Even if you think that the problem is small, there might be some underlying issues that only a professional can address. Some common problems will determine if you need to get Perry Hall air compressor repair service. These issues may include switch problems, unusual noise, excessive oil consumption, or the air pressure is building too slowly. These signs are all related to some damage that has to be fixed immediately.

The cost of air compressor repair Perry Hall generally depends on the damage to be repaired and the materials that need to be used. Some people who have the background and enough knowledge of air compressor systems repair their units on their own to save some cost. However, if you do not have the know-hows, you might as well hire a professional to do it for you or you might risk causing more damages. The most common issue that may need Perry Hall air compressor repair is when you hear a humming sound or noise from your compressor. If that is the case, the issue may be caused by a bum unloader valve. Unloader valves are easy and inexpensive to use. The challenge is with finding the right match for your compressor. You might contact the manufacturer for this, or you can have a professional open the switch cover and locate the pressure switch part number. You can then search online or go the nearest hardware shop and look for a replacement. The cost may run around $20 to $50.

I have a 26 year old 2 speed Lennox system with an intermittent problem, which I would like to describe a little bit and then ask a few questions. The ACCU is model HS14-411V-3P, nominal 3 ton unit. The compressor was replaced under warranty 21 years ago. The system has had a few problems and repairs over the years, but I am generally happy with it and would like to keep it going if possible and economically feasible. Current issue: Sometimes the indoor fan coil unit will run continuously for hours, while the ACCU will not come on. When this is occurring, I can hear a "click" at the ACCU, like it is trying to start, but doesn't. Five minutes or so later, I can hear the same "click", but no go. Sometimes moving the thermostat to a lower temperature setting will cause the ACCU to come on and start cooling. Sometimes the ACCU doesn't seem to know when to stop … with the thermostat set to maintain about 75 degrees, it may continue to run until the room temperature is 72 degrees or less, by which time my wife or I will manually move the thermostat to get it to stop running. Since this is an intermittent problem, I have been reluctant to call anyone out to look at, for fear it would be working properly at the time of the service visit. While I have never been a customer of yours, I have recently read some good reviews and recommendations about your company, and would like to ask what your service call charge is, if any, and your warranty policy. If you could please advise at your earliest convenience, I will probably want to set up an appointment for you to take a look at it.
