I have 1 river birch, 3 maples and a dwarf lilac I would like to have trimmed back this fall. The birch is the only one with any size. Appreciate an estimate.

Tree Removal

Jerry F. Kansas City, KS

I had this house inspected because I am thinking of purchasing it. There are 2 Asian elm trees right on the lot line (one of them actually grew around the chain link fence). They are about 4\' from the house and look to be about 30\'-40\' tall with a trunk about 14\"-16\" in diameter. They are about 4\' apart. The inspector says the roots may be causing damage to the drainage system/foundation of the house.I would like to know about how much it would cost to have them completely removed and the stumps ground down to prevent the root system from causing damage. Also, there is a lot of landscaping on the neighbors front lawn (the trees are toward the front of the property on the south side of the house) so I would need to know what impact the work would have on this. The trees look to be about 25\' from the street. If you have any questions please call me.
