How Much Does it Cost to Service Asphalt in Bristol?

Asphalt in Bristol is commonly used in pavements and driveways. It has become a modern paving solution in many homes due to many reasons. Asphalt in Bristol can create a smooth surface for safe driving. Smooth roads can have a substantial contact with car tires that can result in a safer and more reliable drive. Also, Bristol asphalt is deemed to be cost-effective. The smoothness of asphalt can reduce wear and tear on car tires which can significantly lower the operating cost of the vehicle. Installing asphalt is quick and easy, thus, saving time, money, and labor cost. It is also energy-efficient. It can lessen the rolling resistance between tires and pavement which means better fuel economy and less carbon dioxide emission. When asphalt pavement in Bristol is damaged, it can be replaced easily. The damaged asphalt pavement will not be disposed of, but it will be recycled to be used again. It has been reported that asphalt is the most recycled material in the country with nearly 100 million tons of asphalt pavement being reused and recycled annually. Fair price breakdown

Asphalt is mostly used to pave driveways in many homes. It is affordable and can only cost around $3 to $4 per square foot. Choosing asphalt as a pavement solution is not only economical and practical, but its durability can withstand harsh weather conditions too. Asphalt in Bristol is mostly used by many homeowners living in cold regions, as compared to concrete, because of its ability to adapt to temperature changes. Concrete, on the other hand, has the tendency to crack when exposed to a temperature below freezing point. This could be very costly to repair for homeowners.

Several factors can affect the asphalt installation in your pavement. One of this is the local material cost that is usually determined by the freight and current market price in your area. Bristol asphalt, when used as pavement, will need to have good drainage which can also add to the cost of the installation. The base coat will also have an impact on the expense. Coats are usually around $1 to $2.50 per square foot. Special top coats and sealants used in asphalt in Bristol can cost you an additional $1 to $2.5 per square foot for basic top coats and around $3 to $5 for special top coats. Installation of foundation can also add to the overall price of your asphalt project. Installing 8 to 10 inches of gravel below the asphalt can cost around $1 to $2.50 per square foot of the surface area.

Bristol County Asphalt FAQ

Technically, asphalt is black. When the aggregates or stones are mixed with asphalt cement, the material immediately turns black. As time goes by and as the asphalt starts to oxidize, the aggregate coating will eventually start to break down and the real color of the stone slowly show. This reaction could lead to a grayish color on the asphalt if the manufacturer used light colored aggregate.
Just like with other parts of your home or property, it will always be cheaper to repair damaged areas of your driveway when they are still minimal. Ignoring them will expose your driveway to bigger damages in the future which can cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars to repair.
Generally, you can drive on asphalt after 2 to 3 days from the date it was installed. But, you should be careful because the curing period of asphalt is 20 to 30 days.

Also the cost for 5.1 cubic yards for 2 footers in a sonotube for another pylon sign. How much notice would you need if we needed to schedule this?

I am looking for a contractor to repair a storm drain, the majority of the storm drain vault is under a roadway. What is happening is the road and ground around the drain is sinking, as there is no evidence of material entering in to the storm drain system. it is believed that the material placed around the drain was incorrect or was not properly compacted. So what will have to happen is that part of the road will have to be removed. the concrete curbing will have to be removed. Then the dirt around the vault will need to be removed and back filled and compacted with suitable back fill. The road and curbing will have to be replaced. And the grass next to the road will need to be repaired. There is also concern for a water line and irrigation pipes and wiring that run next to the area.
