Sheds, Barn or Gazebo

Todd F. Santa Cruz, CA

Purchased an installed shed thru Home Depot. 10 X 10. I had it installed at the end of the driveway, leveled on asphalt. I was told I didn't need a permit if it wasn't being installed on a concrete pad. MISTAKE!!! No sooner did the Home Depot subcontractor leave did the Village inspector show up! The shed is not in an approved location! I will need to move it to the yard. I need to get the permit application back to them by next Wednesday. Once they approve the new location and issue the permit, I'll have to have the shed moved. I would assume a fork lift could lift it and move it to the approved site, but it would have to be placed level. I am NOT qualified to do that! I would need to have a mover and then someone that could level it. Could be the same company or I can find another contractor to do the leveling, but I would assume the forklift mover would have to stay to place the shed.
