Alayna S. Porterville, CA

We just bought a new house and the central air takes 4 hours just to go down maybe 4 degrees. And we have everything open. But it still is so hot in the house. Yes, the A/C sat for the winter into summer as the owners we bought it from moved. But I don't understand why it take soooo long to cool.

Hillary H. Porterville, CA

I had pest control at my house to clean out and seal two vents that birds had gotten into and were making their nests. One on the backside of my house and one that is behind my microwave/stove. He was only able to clean the two ducts partially and seal them up and suggested I have someone come out to properly do it. He discovered the duct on the backside of my house has a tear in it that needs repaired as well as cleaned out. I am not sure if any of the nesting material has gotten under the hole or not either. The one behind my microwave he said to properly clean that the microwave needs to be taken down and cleaned out from the inside of the house. Ever since they got into the duct by the microwave it has been making noises like it's going to break down so I believe they damaged it as well, and I see the list of services shows appliance repair as well. I am not sure exactly if it is repairable or just needs to be replaced. I am not sure if you offer duct repair or just cleaning, so any information would be appreciated. And if all of the above is offered, I would like to have someone come by to get a quote/damage assessment and see if there is anything the pest control might have missed. Thank you
