A non professional sanded and stained our wood floors, but they have NOT been sealed and vanished yet. I am not happy with them. The edges around the room were hand finished with a small orbital sander so the edges have taken stain darker than the rest of the floor. Also, the edges have not been sanded to the same depth as the rest of the floor. I am hoping a professional can help me by further sanding the edges with the appropriate method and equipment to get the room edges down to the level of the rest of the floor...... Or I am open to a complete re-sanding if that is necessary to get my beautiful floors back. I really hate to install an engineered floor over my beautiful hardwood if I can prevent it. Please help me??
